These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Bug Bite Identifier mobile app (the “App”), operated by Mobixoft LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

Educational only — you assume all responsibility. All information, identifications, and content in the App are provided for educational purposes only. The App is not a medical diagnosis, treatment, or emergency service, and may be inaccurate. You use the App entirely at your own risk and assume full responsibility for any decision or action taken based on it. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for any medical concern. In an emergency — such as trouble breathing, swelling of the face or throat, fainting, or a rapidly spreading rash — do not rely on the App; seek medical care or call your local emergency number immediately.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use the App.

2. Educational Use Only — User Responsibility

The App uses AI image matching to suggest possible (probabilistic) causes of a bite or sting and general, educational first-aid information. All data and results in the App are for educational purposes only, are not guaranteed to be accurate or complete, and must not be used to make medical decisions. Every result reminds you to see a doctor. You acknowledge that you are solely and fully responsible for any use of, or reliance on, the App and its content.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

Premium features are offered as an auto-renewable subscription billed through your Apple ID.
Pricing and any free-trial terms are shown in the App before purchase. Payment is charged at confirmation; after any free trial, it renews at the displayed price unless canceled.
Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
Purchases are processed by Apple and subject to Apple’s terms; refunds are handled by Apple.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the App, including attempting to reverse engineer, disrupt, or access it in unauthorized ways, or uploading unlawful or infringing content.

5. Intellectual Property

The App and its content (excluding your own photos) are owned by Mobixoft LLC and protected by applicable laws. You retain rights to the photos you provide; you grant us a limited license to process and store them to deliver the service (see our Privacy Policy).

6. Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that results are accurate, reliable, or suitable for any medical purpose.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mobixoft LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any health outcome, arising from your use of or reliance on the App.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Mobixoft LLC is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in-app or via the App Store listing. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
